The Facility is managed from the Secretariat in Jakarta, under the guidance of the Research Priorities Committee (RPC), which comprises its three stakeholders, namely the implementing agency (ASEC); the ASEAN member countries, represented by the ASEAN Senior Economic Officials Meeting (SEOM), and the funding agency (AusAID). These three stakeholders are represented on the RPC as follows:
The main function of the RPC is to confirm ASEAN economic research priorities in accordance with the Research Selection Criteria and formulate the Facility's Research Program, consisting of a portfolio of specific research projects approved by the RPC, which most effectively utilizes the funding available. The RPC also reviews the assessments of specific research projects undertaken by the Facility and, as appropriate, considers changes to improve its ongoing activities. Each RPC member is responsible to provide regular reporting back to their respective organizations on the activities of the Facility. In addition, in the wider context of AADCP, the two Co-Chairs of the RPC participate as members of the Joint Planning Committee (JPC), which advises the ASEAN-Australia Forum, and which is responsible for policy consideration and formulation under AADCP. The day-to-day management of the Facility is vested in the hands of the REPSF II Team Leader/Research Manager who is based full time in the ASEC office. The Team Leader/Research Manager is supervised by the Contractor and the Technical Director (TD) and reports regularly to the Deputy Convenor (Principal Director of ASEC's Bureau for Economic Integration and Finance). The Australian Managing Contractor (AuMC) engaged by AusAID for REPSF II is GRM International.
